Just wanted to post some pictures from our visit to the army of the terracotta soldiers. it's an amazing sight to see the details of all the soldiers as no two are alike. They're actually still digging and excavating the site after 40 years!

It's hazy, hot, and humid here in Xi'an. A thick layer of pollution and humidity surround the whole city center. Xi'an is unique in that it is one of the only places where the city walls still stand. We rented some bikes and biked around the 14K perimeter.

There isn't really much to see except for a a bunch of modern development and high rises but the ride was still a fun time. A rickety one-speed Chinese bicycle that can give out at any moment is always an adventure.

We're gonna ride the rails all the way to Beijing tonight on an overnight sleeper train. I hear the weather will finally be nice over there.
