We packed all the work in foam and bubble wrap before contacting the local shipper man. He brought in a crate maker who made five HUGE crates to ship work back to Minnesota thanks to funding from my Minnesota State Arts Board Grant.

We brought back three years of stored work from Jiangshifu's house. Twenty boxes of work plus new pieces to pack and ship home.

We printed black and white images to attach on each piece.

Between the work, rolls of foam and bubble wrap we took over a good part of the studio.

The thought of shipping all this work was a bit overwhelming.

The studio owner Prof. Zhou and his wife would just walk by and smile as I took more and more space.

For multiple part work we bundled them together so I do not have to sort and find matching pieces at home.

All this work with 100 degree weather and sporadic power outages so no fans.

We almost buried Zhouying under the bundles.

Sherry and Zhouying negotiating for me with the shipper and box maker. They estimated I needed five, maybe six meter cubed crates for all the work.

Two days later five HUGE crates came into the studio taking up more space.

To give a sense of scale we put Zhouying inside. I thought I could sell these as small houses.

It was our job to pack the crates. We put all the heavier, big pieces on the bottom and then fit in all the small around.

With five crates at our access we ended up being able to fit all the work in two.
