We got up this morning had had breakfast at the same restaruant we had eaten dinner at the night before. I had the best yougurt with bananas there. I can't remember the name of the place. The guide, Mu Ying Mo, found us there and we rented bikes and went on our way. We rode out of town and stopped at an old farm house which is set up to show tourists how people used to live in the area. The road is lined with rice fields and we stopped a few times to take pictures. From there we went into a small village where she showed us around. You can go into the houses and look around to see how people live which I thought was quite strange because the people that lived there weren't home. We went and saw a man who was making bird feeders and he gave us some fruit to try. It was like an orange. We went from there to a place in the Yulong river where we borded a raft and were taken down the river. Our bikes were loaded on to the back of a truck and brought to the end along with
our guide. The river was full of dam like objects a couple of feet tall. Everytime we went over one we had to lift our feet up so they wouldn't get wet. Bigger boats were floating around this river and you could pull up to one and get a beer. We bought one for ourselves and one for the river guide. The area along the river was really pretty and really green. At the end of the ride our guide met us with our bikes. The chain on David's bike had come loose so we had to stop and fix it. From there we went to moon hill and had lunch at the restaurant there. The resturant had a covered deck area where we could see the hill and the flowers around the restaruant. It was nice sitting in the shade for a bit and having lunch since we were so hot from riding bikes. We had the option to climb moon hill but we were to tired so we decided to ride the bikes around some more little villages. On the way out of the villages we saw some water buffalo. Our guide told us that the owners of

This is the sidewalk into the small village we visited outside of Yangshuo. the buffalo expect you to pay to take a picture of them. Dave and I saw a lone buffalo farther up the road and jumped off our bikes to take a quick picture. We saw a lady running down the street after us. We jumped back on our bikes and took off after our guide. She brought us back to town and we booked tickets to the famous light show Impression Sanjie Liu from her. We went and took a nap and had dinner and then met at the bank where the guide told us to wait for someone to come get us to go to the show. We were brought to a waiting van and hopped in. No one spoke English in the van. We were dropped off in the parking lot and the driver pointed to a little doll hanging from the mirror, we saw people looking at the van license plate. We figured this meant we had to find the van when we returned so we looked at the license plate also. We followed the group to the entrance of the show where we were met by some English speaking people who handed us tickets. They told
the chinese people we were with to make sure we got to our seats and they told us to follow the chinese people in our group to our seats. The venue is pretty spectacular. The show was good but would have been better if cameras were not allowed. People kept taking pictures with their flashes during the dark show and it took away from the experience. David wasn't so interested in the show and was tired. We made it back to the van after the show and then back to town where we went right to bed.
