If you like rural China, you might consider going on to Guizhou and Hunan provinces.
These provinces offer scenic mountains, stunning rice terraces, and quaint villages inhabited by different ethnic minorities. Keep posting! I liked your pics!

Rural China
Thanks for the thumbs up Jeremy. We loved China immensely!! We were there for one month and tried to see and do as much as humanly possible in this time. We have since left but find ourselves dreaming about it. This has fuelled our desire to return and try learn more mandarin so I'm sure we will get to see some more rural China in the future. Or I hope we do before mass development. Yes the next blog we travels to Hunan for some stunning scenery. Thanks for reading!

Sunset in Xingping

Xingping
The karsts of Guangxi provence are out of this world. Yet while they overlook Yangshou the bustle of commercialism can distract. What a fabulous find Xingping appears to be. I reckon you are lucky to be there before it's old world charm is pulled down and recreated. Magic.
