A transit day. Early morning for airport, then flight to Guangzhou (with stop in WuShen). Flight is somewhat uneventful.

GZ is very hot and humid, and the air con does not work in our bus. (With six of us, we get a big bus.) We ask for a lunch stop prior to going to the train - good food, ordered entirely by Paul. What taste!

Train station is very large. As we wait, we discover that our guide is very like Keegan - he draws a hors and Chinese knight in Keegan's sketch book.

Lots of rain on and off from GZ to Hong Kong. It is very obvious when we enter the New Territories - barbed wire fences and guard towers on the border.

Short drive from station to our hotel in Kowloon. We got out for dinner - the kids and my parents eat at McDonald's (fresh salads!) while Paul and I find a real restaurant and enjoy a bottle of wine. Not raining as we return to hotel for the night.
