茶香留我 浮生一刻 Tea house is my favorite hang out, not really in a room, could be a tree shade, a nice view hill top or anywhere I could set my body and minds totally free. I'm not that kind of infatuated tea master but just a guy who doesn't even tell the difference between Wulung or Tie-kwan yin. The real experience of drinking tea is recreation, the best tea always be those cheap green or jasmine tea which you could buy in any road side store. Life is full of surprises and unexpected experience, I would rather enjoy the most common part in my life though it's just a moment as long as with the tea aroma comes together.... read more

A cool area for hiking or backpacking. The best season would be spring or summer. Amazing landscape, fresh air and some local special flavor all give you real life experience. Everything is so so true and simple. What I always enjoy to do during my country hiking are fishing (not much fish really captured but a great way to learn the environment around me), photography (most of these pics in this article taken by me), reading (there always be a beach chair in my car trunk) under the tree shades or just wandering around. There are also some family hostels all around which are cheap and nice with pretty affordable costs accommodations offered. Bunch of friends just left for another hiking somewhere nearby couple of hours ago. I'm now planning my next hiking. ... read more

Hi! So I thought I had lost my camera, but I just found it! This past week was my week off of school so I did a bit of touring. Unfortunately, I didn’t have my camera! I should be getting pictures of it all from friends though. Meanwhile, I will now upload the pictures I didn’t upload earlier for you to check out. So I started out this week resolved to find some Chinese recipes online and learn how to cook Chinese style. I have been trying to cook typical food from home and it is very expensive and hard to find the right ingredients. The main store to buy foreign food here is called Metro and it is like a Costco back home. It is funny though because their super sized items are the same ... read more

As a pre-warning, I am going to set my blog to private. Currently, anyone and everyone can see it, so I’m going to switch it to private. I will add everyone to the private list that is signed up as a subscriber. If you are not signed up and want access, let me know so I can add you. I won’t add anyone who doesn’t ask because it will send an email with every new post Last weekend I went to a place called Foreigner’s Street. I plan to take everyone who visits there! It was very interesting. It is basically a huge amusement park. Something you would never see in the US is that you don’t have to pay to get in. All you pay for is the rides you chose to go on. Some ... read more

It has been a while since my last blog so this may be my longest one yet. School is going really well. I just gave my first tests at the end of last week and beginning of this week. All A’s! And they were not easy tests! I have been giving a lot of homework. After the math test I gave today, they asked about math homework and I said there was none. My one student that speaks little English shouts oh what a lucky day! Her English is making massive improvements this year, I am impressed by how many new words I hear her use everyday. I’m not sure what it is that is helping her, but I am so proud of her. I have her doing Rosetta Stone for one period (45 minutes) everyday. ... read more
