Today we went to the Great Wall. The part of the Great Wall we went to is called the Mutlanyu Great Wall. We went to this part even though it is a little further away because we heard there are less tourists and the Great Wall splits there. We climbed about 1000 steps and walked for about 3 hours. The Great Wall has been restored to the original state. We climbed to the top of the mountian and was the unrestored Great Wall. I was amazed on how they built it on the steep mountains and how long it is. It was built during the Qin Dynasty about 200 BC. On the pictures, you will notice that Spring hasn't arrived yet here, the leaves are not green. One fun part was we took a slide down the hill on a cart. It was amazing seeing the Great Wall!!
