Last stop, Beijing

Last stop in China was Beijing. It was cold here (only 7 degrees) which came as a nasty shock after all these weeks of sunshine.

We saw all the main sights including the Forbidden city and Olympic stadium, where Laura ran around on the covered track!

We were somewhat unusual in Beijing for the fact that we were not in a large tour group. There are lots of massive groups here and they all have matching baseball caps of a given colour. We had to be careful not to be engulfed by them when they are on the move!
