There was much anticipation about visiting Wanfujing Snack Street. It was a beautiful night to experience the sights, sounds, and unique tastes of Beijing. Some of us, were more daring than others. Russ, Kristi, and Barbara enjoyed freshly killed scorpion. Let that sink in a little before viewing photos.

They were alive and moving when this picture was taken. They were fried and killed before Russ started eating.

Russ insists the scorpions were good and "taste like chicken." Both Americans and Chinese were taking his picture. Nobody else in sight was eating these.

Just off the Snack Street we enjoyed a taste of Peking Opera being performed from a rooftop.
