There was much anticipation about visiting Wanfujing Snack Street. It was a beautiful night to experience the sights, sounds, and unique tastes of Beijing. Some of us, were more daring than others. Russ, Kristi, and Barbara enjoyed freshly killed scorpion. Let that sink in a little before viewing photos.

Scorpions
They were alive and moving when this picture was taken. They were fried and killed before Russ started eating.

It Tastes Like Chicken
Russ insists the scorpions were good and "taste like chicken." Both Americans and Chinese were taking his picture. Nobody else in sight was eating these.

Barbara Gets Leftovers
Women are just as daring as men when it comes to eating odd things. You go girl!

Russ Gets His Hat
His final asking price made the vendor mildly angry.
