Today we were heading to Cambodia. Another 6am start and leave the hotel by 6.40am !

We then caught our speedboat which would take us up the Mekong river and to get our visas stamped for cambodia. The actual border place is by the river. We had to queue for quite a while in very hot temperatures but we all got through ok. Then back on the boat for about another 3 hours to reach Phnom Penh in Cambodia. We arrived around lunch time and went to the foreign correspondents club for lunch, it was a bit hurried as time was sailing (excuse the pun) by and we had the option of either going to the genocide museum or the killing fields. Matt went to the museum and I went to the killing fields. both very harrowing and though provoking.

Later in the evening we went to a beautiful restaurant by the river. Had a lovely meal and caught one of the tut-tut vehicles home (basically a motorbike pulling a carriage). Good fun and had to be done while we were here. Although no cycling, a very tiring day.
