Unfair "fates"
I think history repeats itself again and again! The torturing or unfair "fates" that Cambodians suffered happen again and again even auntil today. But human beings don't seem to learn anything from it! Sad, isn't it?

its a rough one, but worth it!
Hey there Krysta poo... i know Camodia is a rough visit, but it turned out to be my favourite place. It's really emotional to see all the poverty and brutalities that the Cambodian people have underwent, but on the positive side, they are lovely people who are coming into their own. We found the people very generous and kind. Angkor Wat was absolutely fantasic and I hope that you continue to have fun. Where the next stop for you?

a whirlwind adventure
My darling Krysta, you are such a writer. Every blog I read, or every postcard I get from you, I am just captivated by your stories. You say you want to bring to life what you have read in text books and I appreciate you sharing these experiences with me. As I read the excellent and not so excellent aspects of your time in Pomn Peh (sorry for the spelling), I am just so proud of you! I know you are having the experience of a lifetime and I can't wait to see your skinny butt in a month and a half. Take care, and miss you. Katie

chilling
Kryst: Your description of the torture, pain and suffering is chilling. Makes me so grateful we were born and live in Canada. Travel safe and look forward to Dec. 17th. Love you, Dad
