Great city. As asian capitals go we thought Phnom Penh was up there leading the pack. Loads to do, some great bars, not much hassle and very very cheap...

We spent a day just wandering the streets soaking it all up. Had a look at some sights, Wats, Museum etc. Lapped up some tasty street food and popped into the Foriegn Correspondence Club for a bevvie or two (all free thanks to some guys from Middlesborough who's names we've sadly forgotton!). Loved the whole french feel to the riverside.

The 2nd day wasn't as much fun. We did the tour around the nearby Killing Fields and the S21 Prison from the Khmer Rouge days. Pretty gruesome stuff but a very interesting day.

Could have stayed longer here but the Buddhist NY was approaching and the city all but closes down for a few days so it was just a flying visit. Will definately come back here though in the future.
