Religion. A somewhat sensitive topic of conversation no matter who you are or where you are from. If I were to define religion in as few words as possible, in my very inarticulate, very basic way, I’d say, it is a set of moral guidelines and beliefs. I’m an atheist. Amazing places and photos!
Love that you visited several temples, including ones that gave you that just-discovered, hidden-in-the jungle feeling. Pretty surprising the gray skies since this was the dry season--what would the rainy one be like? I was surprised at the grey skies too. It was misty too some days.

Those pesky mossies!
I would love your mosquito rating on places... to date, Cambodia has been the worst country for bites for me. The one IN my ear totally topped the list. Safe travels, Ren :)

OUCH!!!
In your ear. I bet that killed!!! I wish I could remember a rating for all my past trips but still the overall winner by far was Kenya, I resorted to wearing thick baggy long sleeve tops tucked into my trousers and thick baggy trousers tucked into my sock in an attempt to stop mosquitos there lol.

Just a temple!
Sigh. Cambodia is still on my list, despite the silly tourist remarks and killer mosquitoes. Great pictures!

So many temples so little time
Love the respect you have for others beliefs and loved your opinions on the, "just a temple". We feel the same way. It is an interesting part of the world. Glad you had the time to embrace all that was offered. Yes we enjoyed the food there also. As always your photos have told a great story.
