Bayon is known as the temple of faces. The giant stone faces of Bayon have become one of the most recognizable images connected to classic Khmer art.
There is 37 standing towers with most of them having four faces carved in to the stone, 216 to be correct.

Work, Kids Mortgage.... Life is going to fast for our liking, so to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary we decided to take some well needed time out together. No Kids, Birds, Chooks or dog......... No Housework - Cleaning mode deactivated............. Starting in Bangkok Thailand for a few days on our own before meeting up with friends in Hanoi Vietnam, there we will spend a night on a junk in Halong Bay before flying down the coast to Cua Dai Beach Hoi An for a few more days. Then on to Ho Chi Minh city (Siagon) where we will visit the Mekong before flying in to Cambodia to see beaut... full info
