In the confines of a monastery
Thank you Jessica for a wonderful glimpse during your stay at the monastry. Great photos which capture the amazing beautiful pepople. I completely agree with your comments about the impact some tourists have . At least there travelers like you that have a positive interaction with the locals. Best wishes Anabela

Evocative photos
I enjoyed your photographs. Many capture the everyday scenes I remember while traveling through Burma. I love photo 36.....people in Burma make what I would consider acrobatic balancing acts look mundane...and that was something I saw everyday there.

Monastery stay - Sagaing
Hi Jess, I am not one to usually read strangers blogs but I came across yours when researching Monastery stay in Sagaing and have spent the last hour reading your insightful adventures and marvelling at your incredible photos. We are travelling to Myanmar in November and your blogs have truly moved me -you write with such passion and warmth. I would love the contact details for Monty so we too can experience life in Sagaing without having to stay at the Hapy Hotel. Many thanks Vicki Australia
