Day 11-Saturday-January 23 After breakfast this morning we arrived in Yandabo, a small rustic village on the bank of the Ayeyarwady River in the Mandalay Region. Ye Min watches and explains as she puts the finishing touches on this pot. Before they have dried, she uses a wooden mallet on each with her individual marking on it to identify that it's hers. She rotates the pot on her lap while she hits it leaving her brand.

After arriving in Bagan we were bused to this 12-story tower to overlook the many surrounding pagodas and wait for sunset.
