I had wanted to try at least a couple of glasses of Armenian wine, starting with a white and then followed up with either a rose or a red - but the staff was too busy laughing and chatting amongst themselves after I finished the first glass, so I simply left. Service in Yerevan has been quite spotty, so far. ... another highly-rated spot on TripAdvisor, but quite disappointing. The roasted eggplant, pepper, and tomato were bland and mushy. The mushrooms were shrivelled up, and the potato burnt. The chicken was ... ok, still fairly juicy but with a bitter aftertaste and surprisingly, the white meat was far juicier and tastier than the dark. Easily the worst meal in the Caucasus, so far.
