Oops.. nearly didn’t make it. Someone left the passports in the guest house safe - long story but they were retrieved in time. Spent three nights & four days at the Victoria Falls Hotel, where at last pulling the honeymoon card worked, landed us the honeymoon suite overlooking the gorge/bridge/falls mist. For Tracy’s birthday we took a sunset cruise down the Zambezi River seeing croc’s, elephants, hippos on the way. The Hotel was like stepping back into the 1930’s, it was an amazing place and the grounds were often visited by worthogs, baboons, monkeys & there were even elephants by the gates one morning.
