So I travelled with John, a friend from Ireland who I met in Lilongwe from Lusaka to Livingstone, which took approximately 8 hours on a comfortable "luxury" bus. Now I've been on a number of buses which class their service as luxurious and of a high quality, but it more often than not, is anything but. Beautiful Zambia
The Falls are an amazing sight to behold, especially at this time of the year. I am glad you enjoyed yourself. I would not advise you to go during the dry season because all you see are the rocks. I agree with you, though, that the sunset is beautiful over the Zambezi River when viewed from the hotel.
