Taragire park
Three hour drive with stop at Tanzanite shop. Mostly paved roads finally, until reaching park. Very interesting views of African villages. Park full of elephants by the thousands. Another close encounter with cheetahs. Accomodations in tented camp with view of river valley with large numbers of elephants and giraffes. Linda has already asked them to respray for possible bugs and spiders.Tomorrow early start to Arusha to catch flight to Stonetown on Zanzibar. We are ready for a few days of relaxation on the beach without drives on dusty roads

Enjoying your blog -- wow, sounds like quite the adventure! Simbavati is going to seem pretty tame by comparison. Jeff, you have some great shots -- good to see you're getting some good mileage out of the camera. Linda, glad to see you haven't been carried away by a giant spider. :)

enjoying the blog - thanks for the great photos - and yes Linda needs extra bug and spider spray.
