A Day of Relaxing

This morning we woke up to another great day of clear skies and warm summer sun. After we had breakfast, I sat out the back of the cabin and enjoyed the view, while Paul went fishing along the edge of the dam.

Later in the morning our friend Brett arrived. He was staying in the cabin with us for the night and then the three of us were leaving here to meet our friends Claudine and Neil tomorrow.

We had lunch and then all of us walked down to a part of the dam that would be good for fishing. I sat on the rocks and read, while the guys fished. They then caught a reasonable sized fish and released it back into the dam. I started to get bored and went back to the cabin and relaxed.

Later on in the afternoon I made the fire to cook our dinner on. The guys then returned from an enjoyable afternoon of fishing and we sat outside the cabin and had a few cold ones as we watched the sunset. This evening we cooked up a masterpiece of a meal on the barbecue, which made us all very sleepy soon after eating!
