Amazing Sunrise

This morning I joined Paul and his guests for a game drive. The drive started with a beautiful sunrise. The clouds looked amazing. While driving along a track we had to stop. An old male lion was walking along the track towards us. It looked like he had been in a few battles. He then walked off into the bush.

We stopped to watch giraffe eating from the prickly sickle bushes, followed a male kudu as it walked along the track in front of us and enjoyed a magnificent view from the top of mountain. From up here it was a great view of the reserve and I could also see a journey of four giraffe.

At the bottom of the mountain we drove in the direction of the giraffe that we could see from the top. The car was parked and we watched the giraffe walked right past the car.

On the way back to the lodge we spotted a kudu run into the bush and a few more giraffes. What a fantastic way to start the day!
