hi
We just got back 2 days ago from trip and trying to catch up. have heard about you from family . i am going to look for pics after I write this. Thinking of you lots. Tana was close to earthquake in Australia and missed by 6-7 days ( was in same area hit hard before hit). Australia will have all the bad things out of it's system by the time you get there. if you have an itinerary of Australia for place you are at and the dates you will be in area, we might be able to swing 2 weeks . Benn wants to go at christmas so give us all the dates as we have to see the availability of timeshare places and month may go to whats available. It was great to talk on phone. we can call you in some countries- did I give you the list? Africa is on. read about you soon. love Mom

Does everything taste like chicken?
I checked out the springbok gazelle on Goggle and have seen them in National Geographic documentaries. Wow, they can run up to 90 km/hr! I'm curious how you would prepare springbok or ostrich? Grilled? BBQ? Does one eat baboon? Do you eat at restaurants or prepare your own? Are you meeting people along the way? What a different land! I was down in Francis with Mom & Dad today for Andrea's skating carnival. She's one of the senior skaters and does some assistant coaching. It was so great to see some of the people I grew up with and then see ALL the little skaters. That town is really growing. I am indebted to Andrea for inviting me to come, as I won the 50/50 draw of $100. I am lucky! And Ross made me a 'rink' cheeseburger! It was delicious. We're back to Francis next weekend for the Francis Dinner Theatre. I have 2 tables full of friends who love to join me for a night in my hometown! Eileen will be doing some 'performing' in the comedy, so I'm looking forward to having a great night out! Let us know when you see your first elephant. It was so fun to have Mom & Dad telling me stories of their African trips from so many years ago. We'll be doing that with you for years to come! Love ya'

HI NANCY :)
Lol no we dont eat baboon.. hahaha i am sure some people would tho! YUCK! You can prepare the meat pretty much anyway you like. We ate the croc in breaded/deep fried form, the ostrich in sausage form and the springbok in a pate form... We usually make our own food, but have been trying things along the way. All the camping/hostel places so far have had a kitchen for the guest to use! It is alot cheaper! We went to an elephant sanctury about a week ago and got to feed them and we walked trunk in hand with them. It was AWESOME! we are excited to see them on a game drive tho... fingers crossed! We are glad that you are doing well, and having fun! Have a great night with your friends in Francis. We have been meeting so many great people, it is really a great experience! We just finishing a night of camping with zebras... seriously there were 2 right beside us. it was great! miss you and glad to hear from you. love ya too! Randi and Quinn :) xo
