March 12, 2013 (Cape Town, South Africa) After a very long Delta flight from ATL to Johannesburg, we just made our connecting flight to Cape Town by 2 minutes....the way to make a connection! We had to go through passport control, claim our bags, get them over to South African Air and we thought we had another hour, when we realized it was quite tight. We knew Dr. Pons would be waiting for us. Our bags were intact (a bit wet and dirty on the outside) but timely and safe delivery. Dr. Pons picked us up and took us to the hotel in one of Cape Town's nicer suburbs. It was quite dark, so no photos yet, but there should be some coming tomorrow. Note to Self: figure out a comfortable economy seat for long flights!
