6th April - West Coast National Park in 3 parts!

The West Coast National Park offers overwhelming natural beauty, established in 1985. With our knowledgeable guide we were able to walk the shores of the lagoon, visit a hide where we were very lucky to see flamingos, stroll along the salt marsh and before we finished the tour see in the distance a group of four ostrich.

As we walked we discovered tracks of Eland, Cape Fox, & Porcupine. We saw on the rocks Dassie and many other birds as they flew around the lagoon.

The succulents with their wonderful textures and colours together with the blue sea and mountain made for a truly amazing experience.

Added to the adventure Kersten with the aid of his camera was able to bring into view the flock of flamingo and the ostrich.
