We spent the day today touring the cape - we went right around the whole tip - we stood on the very tip of Africa - saw the Indian Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean. The Table Mountain is very old - they have dated it back 300 million years and believe me the rock looks that old - WineRocks would have a hay day!!! It was very rainy so not great pictures but here are a few.
I was not expecting the wild life - but we saw seals, baboons (check these out they are too funny!!! Honest to God!) and last but not least penguins (these are only found in South Africa).

The view was incredible - the ride, very trepidacious - very narrow and windy along the mountain side.

The rocks are absolutely georgeous and very old!! Over 300 million years old

Seals by the hundreds
Not sure if you can make this photo out - but we took a boat out to see the seals. The swells were 5 meters high - what a ride!!!

More seals
The rocks were black with these seals - they do not seal hunt apparently - but do cull them. Hmmm?

Baby baboon nursing
I hope you can see this one - the baby baboon is nursing. They were sitting on the side of the road as we came off the cape.

Voyeur
While Mom was distracting us with nursing her baby, this guy was letting it all hang out while he attempted to steal the mirror off this vehicle. Next will be the hubcaps and then up the mountainside they climb

I had no idea there were penguins here. Some were fuzzy babys, some still had eggs in their nests
