01 Oceans

Today we were going on a road trip to Cape Agulhas, a rocky headland that divides two oceans. We took a leisurely drive there via inland roads and passed through small towns. Just before midday we arrived. We drove along the coast, past the lighthouse and stopped at the marker.
Here we took the compulsory touristy photos. Cape Agulhas is the southernmost point of the African continent. When looking out to sea, to the left of us is the Indian Ocean and to the right is the Atlantic Ocean. This is where the two oceans meet.
We had a little walk around. It was a windy, cold day and we didn't spend too much time out of the car. On the way back to Hermanus we stopped in a little town for lunch.
Around mid afternoon we arrived back in Hermanus. We parked the car and walked along the cliff in the hope of seeing whales. There were a few whale splashes in the distance.
We went for a window shop around town and saw many nice things that we would like to buy. Then found a cafe for some coffee- an essential in this cool weather. We went back
02 Little Car
Our little Citroen at Cape Agulhas. to the cliff and did some more whale watching. Wish the weather was nicer, as it would be very relaxing sitting here and daydreaming while looking for whales.
