Hi Randi & Quinn. Do not sit too far back on the ostrich or you will fall off like I did. It has a neck that is very interesting to hang on to. Go the whole distance on the cave tour, the chimney is sort of tight but they know if you are too fat and wont let those people go . you dont have any worries. Have lots of fun & meet lots of friends in the camp grounds . Thanks for your updates. Feb. 19 late at nite after symphony. Love to you both from grandpa & grandma.

Hi Quinn & Randi Feb 20 We travelled Kruger National Park twice by motorhome and once by car. Camps are all fenced in to keep the animals out. People were there in tents. North from Durban are Umfolozi, Hluhluwe and Mkuze Game Reserves all by car. A new game reserve was just opening up in 1993 called Itala which we found very interesting .It is not on any of our maps but it was after we left Swaziland going south. Grandmas notes says we got permission to go at Louveld but I cannot find that on a map either. After we left Itala we went to Mkuze game reserve. North of Port Elizabeth was where we saw our first elephants [Dura I think JA] The one that looked in the back window of our motorhome. [JA I got a tick on my leg I think in Mkuzi in the grass that caused a problem & I had to go to a doctor a week later ] Love from Grandpa

HI GRANDMA AND GRANDPA
Feb 23rd, Happy birthday to mom!!! :) Thanks for your ideas. We are going to the caves tomorrow, and we were only going to do the first part, but now we will do the whole thing!! :) On friday we will ride an ostrich, hehe thanks for the tips. I (randi) think I may freak out hahah, and we hope quinn is light enough to try too!!! So far we have seen the Penguins at boulders beach, went to the very southern most point of Africa, camped at Victoria bay, overlooking the bay, and today we went to the cango wildlife ranch!! Having your own vehicle is waaaay better!!! For the reserves, were they really expensive just to do for the day, or how did they work... they should be pretty much the same now, just more money haha. We hate ticks... and hopefully we dont get one... we really REALLY like hearing from you guys so often. we are posting pictures today, and we will update you guys everytime we are able to use a computer. Love you both sooo much and miss you! Hope Vader is being a good boy, hug him for us!!! Randi and Quinn xoxoxoxo
