Common around South African. Cunning and not at all afraid of people wherever you go. Known to break into cars, attack, steal food and shiny items. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chacma_baboon

Baboon Thief

Classic example of the danger of baboons. This, at a rest stop, a man left his table unguarded for 10 seconds, and the baboon swooped out of the trees to grab his chips. Not only did he grab them, but preceded to sit right above the angry man and eat them, in almost a mocking fashion.

Wait, that's a leopard!!!

We spent the entire trip, dissappointed at apparently not seeing a leopard. After the holiday, reviewing my photos, I looked closer, to my delight, to notice that this was actually a leopard! We did see one afterall! A rare sighting to see a leopard on the ground, especially during the day, where they usually relax in trees. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leopard

You can see just how close the leopard was, his tail poking out from those bushes.
