Another Day in the Bush

This morning we had a sleep in and then sat outside as we ate breakfast. Later this morning we drove to the nearest town of Hoedspruit. Here we were meeting up with two of Paul's friends who he did his guiding course with many years ago. Together we had lunch and then we went back to the lodge. On the drive through the reserve back to the lodge, we only saw a couple of wildebeest.

We spent the afternoon relaxing outside the lodge and looking out at the river in the hope of some more amazing sightings. Later in the afternoon we spotted a couple of waterbuck on the other side of the river hiding among the long grass. It was a very peaceful afternoon.
