the start of the Tugela Falls on top of the Drakensberg

Spectacular
I can handle spectacular waterfalls...but chain ladders like the ones you climbed? I've climbed them while caving but that was in pitch black where I could only see where I was going by torchlight...but in daylight...NO WAY!

This is Africa
That is so dramatic and beautiful! I don't have an issue with heights, but would have struggled with that small metal ladder for sure. Loving your trip, and definitely feeling it :)

This Is Africa
"TIA" - I love this phrase whilst travelling in Africa. It reminds one of what a unique place it is, and to allow it to go beyond one's usual (often comfortable) expectations. Beautiful scenery around the Drakensburg. Inspirational travelling ?

This is Africa
This phrase always reminds me of the speech Desmond Tutu gave during the FIFA World Championship in 2010. It was such a sweet speech and always put a smile on my face.

We like to go hiking every now and then. I'll try to remember this hike when we get around to visit South Africa. It looks like a good one. /Ake
