The city of Guelmim situated south of Morocco, known as the Doors of the Sahara, was years ago the meeting point for commercials, whom exchanged camels, marchandise and many food products with the tribes amazighes.

Today this city has become the administrative capital of all the area.

My first travel in the desert was one memorable experience.

After hours drive, this is the state of our ute.

After hours driving in the dirt and empty dry land, we finally stopped at this first meeting point to recharge with water and food supply before heading toward our second camp.

On our way we stopped to find ancient fossiles still remaining on rocks and where this judge land was in fact a dry river.
