How to grow old? I am reading a book of the same name, lounging on a Arabic sunbed in a resort on the outskirts of Marrakech. It is a long way from from my usual holiday haunts. The delights of wandering round an Eastern European city in pursuit of lower league football will not be savoured this week. The original purpose of the blog was the 20th wedding anniversary trip in 2006 / 2007 - Ashes cricket in Oz, setting off early in April and going the long way round! The trip came to an end in February 2007 and for a while retrospective blogging was the only option (for reasons that you can find in the Road to Freedom). I assume it's not real? Were there camels in the camel parking lot out side the walls? There were when I was there.

This album brought back wonderful memories of my visit there many years ago. It was part of the Imperial Cities tour that I took from Spain. Because I could speak French & was comfortable with the locals, our tour guide encouraged me to go to Jema el Fna Square that evening & I loved it.
