So today we had to go find where the break is. I wantted to suit up and go look but jay said why don't we just go for a walk first and look at it. Well it took us around a hour to get to the break where it was firing, at least head high to over head with steep fast walls. So we sat and watched it a bit and I said well i've seen enough let's get our stuff. We decided to try and take the road back and maybe get a taxi but we didn't find one till we were about half way back. Once we got back we suited up and got a taxi back to the point this all took about 2 hours or so which doesn't seem like much but in that time a lot more surfers were in the water and the wind had switched a bit and picked up alot. It was very upsetting. We went for a surf anway. The water was oddly freezing which sucked my wetsuit is old and doesn't work that well so I was shivering after 20 mins. We didn't get many waves and the few I did get I got droped in on which sucks normally I call people out but I hear the localism here is very strong and I didn't want to piss them off. After an hour and half we decided to paddle in and walk back. It was kind of a buzz kill session and day.
We went and got some food after the surf and went for a walk south to see if we could find any other breaks but we didn't have any luck. So we walked back to town and found a game place so we stopped in and played a few games of pool. Tune we got some bananas to try and calm our bowels and for breaky. Then went off to bed hoping the surf would be good in the morning.

So we had set an alarm 5:30 am to get up and walk to the break to be there by first light at 6;30 but for some reason we both were very depressed and really didn't want to get out of bed we both were over traveling and being on the road and just wanted to go home. We even talked about getting earlier flights home. It's amazing how tring and stressful traveling is everyone thinks we live carefree lives but traveling around by public transit not really knowing where u are what ur doing or how to speak to people is very hard. We both agreed this would be our last big trip next time it's go to a surf camp fork the money over and have them deal with the hassle. Or go to south America for 2 weeks but stay in one realive spot. Anyway we pushed back our wake up time till 7:30 ish then we snagged a taxi to the point only to be disapointed the swell wasn't nearly as big or good so we sat there for about an hour to see if the tide would help it but it didn't. We got in anyway to snag a few and then paddle to the beach and walk back. We did manage to hitch hike about half way back. When we got back we decided to pack up and head to agadir. As we were packing I some how twisted or tore something in my foot not to painful but hurts to walk. We got a taxi to the bus station only to find out the nice bus company had only 1 bus to adagir and it already left so we had to take one of the crappier local busses. It was pretty crappy the seats were so hard and weren't really attached to the chairs. they were so dusty when u touch them dust would fly out, there was garbage everywhere inside, oh and the guys who put our boards on the roof argued like crazy about charging us and us tipping them. It was intense.
We did have an abolutely beautiful sunset probably one of the most spectacliuar ones I have ever seen. It really put things in perspective and made me think it was very humbling here I am on a local bus in morocco in Africa pretty amazing to think about. Anyway 7 hours later we arrive in agadir now we have to convince a taxi to take us with our large surfboard bag across town to wherethe cheap hotels were. We managed to get one who tied the board down with what seemed like a tshirt. We made it across town and check the hotels and the first 2 we checked were booked luckily we found one up the road that had space and was really cheap. We dropped out gear and went to go eat. We ate at a small place next to the hoetl I had lamb couscous and jay had a lamb tagine, a coned clay pot dis,h aparently very traditional. Both meals were very tender and tasty although I'm not super fond of couscous it's too mushy. After dinner we headed off to bed.

So we knew there wasn't going to be surf todayso we decided to realx a bit and figure some things out. We had a good breakfast to start the day. Then we walked around looking for an ankle brace for me and a book store for jay but it was Sunday so nothing was really open. We did stop and use the internet and I got to call mom and dad for the first time since I left so that was nice. After that we walked around a bit more looking for a brace and I finally found one when we were on the way to the local bus stop. We were gong to the bus stop so we could catch a bus to tagazoute which is were all the breaks are around here. We thought about renting s car and had some kid offer us one really cheap but we wanted to go see tagazoute first so we took his card and told him we'd call when we got back. . When we got to the bus stop we found out it wasn't coming for about 45 mins so we went to find something to eat. We found a pizza place that told us it would be quick. So we ordered and ate and left rappidly. We both unfortunately left the LP guide and the kids car at the resturant. It was a nice place so we figured they hold them for us. When we got up to tagazoute we briskly walked though the small town then walks out to ankor point. It wasn't working at all but it wasn't supposed to be because there wanst a swell in the water. We met some English guys that said it was really big and good a few days go the swell we partly missed due to lookig for a ding kit and putzing around with public transit and sightseeing in fez and what not. But we have hopes for tomrrow Tuesday and possible a small swell over the weekend. We headed back to town and caught the bus back to agadir. We had to buy tickets for the bus from this guy and if you didnt know what was going on it looked like he was giving out gold it was a mad rush to him when he got off the bus. It was crazy. We finally got on the bus were on our way. This was no ordinary bus ride some local boys were singing and playing some drumbs in the back pretty much the whole way. It wa crazy this bus was jam packed as well and they had almost half the bus singing along at one point it wa nuts, really amazing. When we got back we went to the pizza shop and the had our book but didn't have the cards for the rental car. Jay was really pissed we went back to where we saw the kid but couldnt find him. So we took a taxi back to our hotel area where we popped in on the Internet to see if any the surf camps emailed us back. But no such luck. So we went to have dinner and discuss our options. We thought about trying to get a taxi to tagazoute in the am or wait till the bus starts runnig and then take a taxi from tagazoute to one of the breaks. Jay wanted to ask our waitor If we could rent his car but I thought that was a ludacris idea no one would do that so he didn't even bother asking. This time I had lamb tashine and jay had a fish tazine. Mine was delicious jays fish was bony but good he said. Well we decided to go on the bus in the am since they start runnig at 8 am not as early as we'd like but it's better that 9 or 10 am. Hopeully well get in the water by 9:30 or so. And it will be much cheaper this way. Our thought for tomorrow is either hopfully find that kid again or well bring jays tent and camp in tagazoute and wake up at first light or dawn and have the surf to or self for a while then catch the bus back. Well see how tomorrow goes. I just hope we get some fun surf and my foot doesn't hurt surfing. Off to bed now

Well we got up around 7 caught a taxi to the bus stop where we managed to figure out the first bus is at 6:15 not 8 so we were stoked on that. We caught the next bus around 8 am to tagazoute. On the bus we meet this super cool brazillian guy who has been traveling for the past 2 years but is going home in 15 days. He was meeting a friend at rhe bus stip who owns a surf camp in tazaoute. We diecided to grab a quick breaky when we got to tagazoute and mybe meet the brazilian kids friend.  Which we did and e said u can take the buses to boilers one of the poitn breaks or to rent a car. We decided to take the bus. We gave him our emails so hopefully he'll email or facebook us and we can keep contact with him so we can go visit brazil. Anyway we got on the next bus north but wasn't really sure where the spot was and once we saw the light house we realized we went to far. So we told the bus to stop and we had to walk back a few Ks to boilers. There were only 2 guys out when we got there jay went off somewhere down he coast and was gone for about 30 mins or so when he got back there was a few more cars there and about 5-10 more guys heading out. So we quickly suited up and hoped in. It was a super sketchy entrance. We were trying to cross this deep water spot to climb on some rocks to then hop off on the other side when a bigger wave surged through and just swept me though a rock funnel out to sea. Luckily my board didn't hit the rocks my fins did a little but not to bad. The wind had got on the wave a little so there was some lumpy bumpy choppyness to it. But it was still totally fun and ride able. We both got some really nice fun long ones it was probably double over head and just peeling for ages. Probably the longest wave we have ever surfed over 400 yards, the paddle back out took forever. Then with the drop a hat the wind switched and went screaming off shore, which would be ideal but it was blowing so hard up the faces and making so much spray you couldn't see anything or paddle in because the wind would push you out. Jay got out right as it was switching.  I stayed in about 45 mins more and not by entirely by choice. I caught a few more and snagged a barrell I should have made it out of but I didn't it. There was so much water mooving over the reef it was such a constant paddle to try and stay in position. I was getting super tired. So I got one in but had no idea where to get out as it was all rocks and cliffs. I floated way down shore and had 2 Spanish guys point way north so I had to paddle against this super stog current forever to gain enough ground to catch some white water in to a sketchy small out crop and hop out quickly. Luckily jay finally came down and stood on the cliff to help me navigate my way it.  That was the worst tiring paddle ever. We walked back to our stuff I changed and ate a couple of oranges and some bread we had bought. We walked up to the street to wait forthe bus or hitch hike back. Unfortunaltey no one picked us up so we had to wait for the bus. Jays board had cracked again so we stopped at one of the shops and a guy looked at it and said he fix it by tomorrow mornign so jay left it there and we went back to agadir to eat. But on this bus ride our bus clipped the back of a small truck that was for done really either backing up or rolling backwards. No damage well to the bus I didn't see the truck. But there was a cop on the corner and he came over and marked the street when Ruhr bus was then the bus pulled over. I was starting to think this is going to suck being stuck here but a bus was passing by stopped and picked all of us up.
When we got back we wanted to find the famous bureger place but couldn't find it we did managed to find another burger joint though but they were that good. We did some errands on the way back to the hotel and then shoved off to bed.  Early wake up to catch the first bus in and have a surf.

Nov 10
So we had a 5:30 am wake up grabbed a taxi to the bus then the bus to tagazoute. We went to the surf shop but it wasn't open the guy that fixed the board said he lived next store and said to just knock on the door which we did, some guy finally answered but he said it wasn't there and we'd have to wait till 9. We decided to grab some breaky and then I decided to grab a bus to boilers and have jay meet me there. I again got off near the light house mainly because I didn't see any surf and was worried I was gonna get off in the wrong spot. I walked back to boilers and stopped at a few other of the breaks along the way to spot them. When I got back to Bolers it wasn't really working the swell was too small and the tide was too highh so I sat there for at least an hour waiting on the tide and jay when I finally dedcided to go in after a couple of British guys when in. Jay finally showed up a few hourse later and by then tons of people were showing up I don't know why because it wasn't that good. A small fat set would roll through ever 10 mins or so. Litteraly when jay came out about 15 people followed and it's one thing when it's pumping and enough waves to go around but there wasn't at all. So I snagged one more and went in jay stayed out for a bit. When jay came in he changed then we went to go wait for the bus we got up to the street about 15 mins before the bus came yesterday. But the bus didn't come then some ozzies came up and said they saw the last one come by an hour ago. So we waited with them for another half our of so. As we talked to them we found out they had just come from ireland as well but they flew and it was really cheap. But what was even more crazy we all were surfing bartraa the exact same day of the epic swell it was crazy. Unbeleivable small world. We also learned the place we were surfing was Draculas not boilers.  Finally, the group of other ozzies that had driven away came back our way and picked us up. When we got back to tagazoute we thanked them then all parted ways. We had to then catch the bus to agadir got home. We went to use the Internet then got an awesome chicken dinner. Jay claimed I ate like it was my first meal in ten years and the locals near us moved away haha I think they thought I was going to eat their kids. We were walking home and thought it would be nice to get some coffe and hang out and watch a soccer game with the locals. Which it was.
Then went home to bed. But the Coffee was a bad choice though both of us slept terribly.
