Day 3, again we were all excited about heading up towards Banya Fort and hit the trail after a small tour of the village to get a feel for the locals.. funnily enough we found some Black Market fuel and took the opportunity to fill the bikes and chuck 15ltrs in to the Shorty… I can only say this transaction was a funny experience Mile's is loud and crazy and much fun and laughter was had by all..
We got some tips from the locals on which tracks to follow given there was no street signs at all and headed off into the desert again.. oh for those keeping track of the altitude the lake was 385mtrs so we had dropped quite a long way.
A great day was had by all the tracks were flat and wide, however had started to deteriorate into more rocky sections, we covered 240kms and arrived at the gate to the Silion National Park… bugger we must have missed the track we were meant to turn right onto some 30kms back..
We camped at the gate on the outside of the park and again it was hot and very windy and no beer!!

Me and the Bike
I was really nackered at this stage seals on his bikes rear shock absorber and funnily enough had a spare so we attacked it with gust and fitted the new one… a little bit dodge but not bad considering the conditions. The Shorty's exhaust needed some replacement bolts and the roof racks had started to come loose.. oh and the battery carrier has started to crack.
Spent the night sitting in the hot wind spinning yarns about cooler times and watching the stars.. I know it was hard but when in Rome.
