7 years ago as newlyweds we left NZ for India, then went on to Sri Lanka to help with reconstruction after the Tsunami. Many rice and curry meals later, we moved to the land of ugali (kenyan mashed potato), where we have been working on a global water supply and sanitation project, which finishes at the end of this year. Our overseas move started in 2005, with a brief vacation in India. Then we joined the Tsunami relief team in Sri Lanka for a couple of years. We were then based in Nairobi, Kenya for 9yrs. Then based in Geneva, Switzerland for the past 4 years with Murray in a global role still travelling around to the hot spots.
