Ghana Blog Week 8 2019
Mine and Justice's spring rolls. Week 8 Monday, today is another holiday here in Ghana, as it’s a Muslim’s holiday and today is the start of Teshie’s festival. So, Justice went to work in the morning whilst I slept. Then, at 12 Justice came home, so that in the afternoon we would go to the beach.
At, 3 o’clock me and Justice made our way to the Coco Beach in which before we entered the beach, we went to get food, whilst Justice was ordering the food one of my students saw me and greeted me. It was so strange how in this little hut my students can still find me. After, collecting our food we sat at our beach in the corner away from people under the palm trees it was so peaceful. Whilst, at the beach one of our friends was, also there and saw us and for the rest of the afternoon the friend sat with us, where us three were telling each other stories.
When, the sun had sunset me and Justice left the friend and went on a walk to the ice cream shop, where me and Justice brought a big bag

Mine and Justice's jollof rice of ice creams 10 fan ices, 10 strawberry yogurt and 5 chocolate ice cream. After, getting the ice creams me and Justice got a taxi home, but before we got home, we got ourselves some fried rice. Once, we collected our food we walked the rest home.
For, the rest of the evening me and Justice watched a film together before we went to sleep.
Tuesday, today Justice decided to not go to work, so for most of the day me and Justice just watched movies. We watched two movies in which during the first movie my internet finished so Justice had to quickly go out and buy me more internet.
After, watching the two movies we rested for a bit, before going out and getting our dinner. So, at 7PM me and Justice went on a walk and I told him his Banku hut isn’t open, but he kept saying it was. So, after walking me and Justice went to my indomie hut and it was open then we went to Justice’s Banku hut and it was closed I simply said to Justice I told you so. So, me and

You have to much milk there Justice?? Justice went on another walk to look for some Kenkey for Justice, this one Justice was successful, as the Kenkey hut was open.
Wednesday, today I spent the day at home writing up my blog of last week. Once, I was done with typing I spent the rest of the afternoon watching videos until Justice came home.
Before, me and Justice went on a walk to get some food, Michelle brought his cousin over, as she wanted to meet me, her English was amazing! When, I asked her what job she would like to do she replied saying a diet nutritionist, I was amazed, as everyone here in Ghana either want to be a nurse or a business person.
After, talking to the cousin me and Justice went out to get some fried rice. Like always when eating the fried rice, me and Justice have to decide which person is going to eat what chicken, but that’s because we both love chicken too much.
Thursday, today Eunice invited me over to her house, as she is feeling lonely. So, at 12 I went out to meet Eunice. Half

Me posing in a supermarket way to her house we met and sat at her tailor’s workplace, as Eunice needed to try two dresses on, however Eunice has now lost weight, which I couldn’t believe, as she’s very skinny already.
When, we got to Eunice’s place she cooked me two meals the first meal was plantain and beans, which tasted amazing. After, eating I went to sleep for an hour before my second meal was ready. The second meal was spaghetti and tomato stew, which the stew was a bit too much salty. After, eating Justice came over from work to collect me, so that we can go home together.
Friday, today Justice decided to stay home with me, as I wasn’t feeling well, because of me eating the beans yesterday. Once, me and Justice finished getting ready we headed off to the Junction Mall. At, the mall Justice managed to get himself a new phone, but the problem was the phone he wanted didn’t have a box, so he had to spend an extra 10 cedies for a different phone.
After, we got the phone we went to the supermarket to get two sponge biscuits,

Me and Justice lunch date at the Accra Mall one box of biscuits and a loaf of bread. After, shopping we made our way to Eunice’s place.
At, Eunice’s place me and Justice ate plantain chips and rice with goat’s meat. After, we finished eating we spent the rest of the day watching High School Musical, let’s just say I couldn’t top singing.
When, me and Justice were walking home like 5 minutes away from home my tummy started to really hurt again, so me and Justice had to quickly rush home otherwise I properly would’ve pooped myself.
Saturday, this morning me and Justice spent the whole morning watching a movie, as we were too lazy to do anything, as I was still feeling ill after eating beans from Thursday.
At, 1 o’clock me and Justice went to the other mall called The Accra Mall. Whilst, walking to get our transport Justice stopped two taxis with both charging 40 cedies, so instead of getting a taxi we got a trotro instead costing us both 8 cedies altogether.
At, the mall me and Justice sat down to eat our very late lunch. We ordered spring

Tired after being in the trotro for an hour. rolls and Jollof rice. The spring rolls and chicken tasted very good, whereas the Jollof rice was too sweet, which was very strange.
After, eating me and Justice went to the Vodafone shop to ask what’s wrong with our internet box, the worker asked do we have credit we both said yes, but then the worker checked we didn’t actually have any credit, so that’s why our internet box isn’t working I was so embarra
After, the Vodafone hop me and Justice went to two supermarkets, because at this mall there are two kinds. The first supermarket we went to we brought this cocktail drink and two sponge biscuit cakes. At, the second supermarket we brought Justice his favourite biscuits and one caramel biscuit for me. After, we were done at the supermarkets we walker down to the trotro’s to go home. As, we were in the trotro station we had to wait for the trotro to get filled up, which this can take a very long time. The journey home seemed to take a very long time, as we kept on stopping.
When, we finally got home the lights went out, so instead of over heating in the dark we decided to go for a walk until the lights came on, but when we got home the lights didn’t come back on in fact the lights came on at 2 in the morning. So, when we got home from the walk, we got our two ice creams and sat outside looking at the stars and telling our eclipse stories of the moon.
Sunday, today is another Church day so that was the first thing we did this morning. The Church service was ok, but like always it was too hot in Church, so there were times I just fell asleep by accident, hopefully they didn’t capture me on TV trying not to sleep, otherwise that would be embarrassing.
After, Church me and Justice went to two beaches to relax and talk the first beach we went to we didn’t spend too long there, as it was very windy. The second beach we went too was the Coco beach at this beach we spent three hours telling stories until we decided it was time too go home at 4.
That, evening after dinner me and Justice spent it watching this movie, whilst watching the movie it made Justice too think as he doesn’t ever want us to have to break up over money, as in the movie the women divorced her husband, because she was paying everything and the man wasn’t able too, until after the divorce when the man got this job and became a millionaire, then the women wanted him back.
Altogether, that was week 8 honestly my time in Ghana has been amazing just 3 weeks left until I sadly pack my bags to go home, but I still have so much to do and plan before leaving.
