love the adventure
Julia, we are enjoying the blogs - hope you are safe going to the bars to watch the World Cup games. You are the only Grand Daughter we have, so worry about you! Hope you are learning lots and bring back some pictures.

Fun!
Julia Lynn - I am so enjoying reading about your experiences. Kathy and Rob got here Friday night and Rob said he has been doing the same. Yesterday we went down to Main Street and "did" the antiques deal, which was a lot of fun, as it was reasonably cool with cloud cover up until the last 20 minutes or so. We enjoyed it. We stopped by the shop before we went down there to see your Mom (your Dad did not have a game, so she was working in the morning and he was going to come in for the afternoon). We plan to meet the whole family at Fatz today (to celebrate Father's Day) at 1:00. They plan to leave Friday morning, so it is not a whole lot of time to be together, but certainly better than the years that I did not see Rob at all. He brought me up to date on the boys, although he has more or less been relegated to left field in their life since separating from Jan and connecting with Kathy. He has not seen the new little boy of Mark and Vianca. They seem to be content. Tom, after having graduated with an architectural degree has not been able to find work in that arena and has now gotten (hopefully for a temporary stop-gap) a gardener's job at Mohonk Mountain House - when you get a chance to see that, go on line to their website - it is phenomenal. He is dating a girl named Maggie, who Rob says is a teacher, very nice, very intelligent, and is going to go with Tom. Kevin keeps in touch with nobody it seems, but in a roundabout way, they hear there is a girl named Steph in the picture. Go, Kev! Anyway, he has been able to procure a condo, still has his architectural job in N.Y.C. and has been instrumental in designing the newsroom of "Meet the Press" and another newsroom that I can't remember, but it sounds as if things are going well for him. Anxious for your next posting. What an amazing adventure! Love and hugs from your Aunt Nancy!!!XXXX
