They take this bark, soak it overnight, and pulverize it...

Then boil it...it looks and feels like tar

They make stamps for the ink out of gourds. All of these are symbols representing various things such as faithfulness, or humility, or safety, or leadership, etc.

It was a lot harder than it looks, hence my facial expression! I made a scarf/runner that symbolizes safety and security in the home. All the fabric hanging in the background was made right there on that table!
