Horus in the center - god of many things. Temple devoted to him and the crocodile god Sobek.

Ancient Egyptians made mummies out of the revered crocodile too. Very cool.

This croc was significant for some reason that I have long since forgotten.

Before the tourist numbers crashed, this is where the cruise ended and passengers were bussed to Luxor. Going through the locks was really cool and quite a scene.

Locals toss towels, etc. for purchase to passengers on the upper deck. Can just make out the package second window left of main entryway bottom row. We were waiting for 2 other steamers to simultaneously pass through the locks.
