Ramses II (?) statue, now inside a museum in Alexandria. It used to be standing up, more than 50 feet in the air.
Hey, finally we wrap up our Mediterranean trip in here in Cairo. Egypt is definitely an interesting country to visit, and for the first time I experience a real desert. We started our excursion in Alexandria, through the Egyptian custom, then found our way to El Cairo, and finally to Giza to see the obligatory great pyramids and my new buddy Sphinx.

We're heading back to the States tomorrow, and I can't wait to be leasurely sitting in a properly air-conditioned athmosphere. I know, I sound like a spoiled lil bird, but what can I say?

See you all back in Atlanta! Sign off for now.

I get acquintanced with Sphinx. She's quite old, and she has been guarding the three pyramids for centuries.

Now I understand why they call it 'the Great' pyramid.
