Our overseas move started in 2005, with a brief vacation in India. Then we joined the Tsunami relief team in Sri Lanka for a couple of years. We were then based in Nairobi, Kenya for 9yrs. Then based in Geneva, Switzerland for the past 4 years with Murray in a global role still travelling around to the hot spots. So glad to see the photos of you all. What an amazing experience. Sad about the hassels of the east.But somehow it would not be the east without them. " We will ajust", is what they would say in India. Which meant, "You will adjust". Wonderful Memories!!
Been there, done that It was wonderful to be able to visualize you all in all those places (except Dubai - will have to add that to the list). We feel much the same way about Egypt.
Hearing about Haiti, we thought that is was the sort of place that Murray would be useful but thought it would be too far out of his remit so interesting to hear that he has gone there.

your cruise looked a bit more posh than when i was there on a folucca....lets just say, a few of us had to dash off into the bush along the waters edge to leave some of our guts behind....gross aye!!
