We return to Cairo a couple of days before dad’s flight and new year’s eve. During our last trip we don’t have enough time to check out the Cairo museum, so that’s what we proceed to do this time. The Cairo museum is amazing. Definitely a must do, along with the Spynixeee and the pyramids whilst in Cairo. The museum is a collection of a lot of the sacrilegious artefacts found in the tombs (which have managed to stay in Egypt and not be sent to the British museum and other various museums all over the world).

We explore and even get the chance to see some mummies unwrapped up close and personal. I cave into the indulgences of foods from the Western World and enjoy a delicious McFlurry courtesy of McDonalds. We even manage to spy dad having a taste when he thinks no one is looking. Yum!
