I am looking for help finding a nice place to go and stay for 6 nights. Flying into San Jose with my girlfriend. We want a nice place that is not touristy, quiet, with great beaches and jungle hiking. Up to $200/night for room. Looking for a really romantic place not near a big resort. Reply to this

Cahuita, Costa Rica has both beach, jungle and wildlife, and is one of the most beautiful beaches I have seen in Central America. There is also a wildlife reserve close by. Got some pictures from there on my blog. Enjoy 😊 Reply to this

Do you want to stay all 6 days in one location? I could give you more info on how to visit mountains, see amazing birds and go to the best beaches (down south, very undiscovered yet it has all commodities)

Costa Rica, even in the most popular areas, never felt very touristy to me. But I would think NW costa would be best for you.
