After our return from Ushuaia, we stayed at the nice hotel, Palacio Paz, near our previous Sheraton Hotel and in a nice park setting. I'll go more into some random nights in Buenos Aire later, but this was just a holdover for our early morning ferry to Montevideo, Uruguay. I've seen the movie
A few years ago I saw a movie about that event. The most aweful sequenses were actually not nearly as bad to watch as I thought they would. Montevideo seem to be a very quiet place. Do you think you were in a quiet area or would you say that the entire city is quiet? /Ake

Neighborhoods
I would say that we were in an area that is in a state of renovation, so probably a bit more lively elsewhere. I usually try to find the the "old neighborhoods" because they usually have more character. This was just a strange one.
