Had a sleep in and leisurely breakfast and went for a walk Harbourside of the hotel down by central station to see where the river boats doc saw plenty of Viking and Avalon boats. We got a pretty good idea and we booked in with tickets and tours for tomorrow Zaans Schans Marken and Volendam tour. Back to the hotel around lunchtime had a hot drink and some snacks and a rest for a few hours ….I caught up on the blog and a few bits and pieces headed out around about 4 pm and slowly wandered into town had an early dinner at 5:30 of Maccas and along to the cheese shop bought a fair amount of cheese and continued to wander ……hundreds and hundreds of people arrrrgh and as it got darker noisier !!!!! into the red light district …. Still a fragrant herbal smell wafting around 24/7 …. What a culture ….sex drugs and rock and roll … made our way home about 9 pm as everybody else seemed to settle in to the hundreds of bars for an all nighter …. What an experience !!!!
