The Tamihi Trail winds through the forest beside the beautiful Vedder River.

There are many spots to relax & sit on the rocks, or a little beach. One of those ' good for the soul ' experiences !

I grew up in Rhodesia ( now Zimbabwe ) during the days of sanctions, which also meant that my passport was 'taboo' around the world ! I always longed to travel and was keenly interested in the stories/photos of anyone who was able to. Fortunately, I have since been able to travel quite a lot and have enjoyed every single minute !
