Hi Jo. Knowing your love for Japan, this must be a terrible shock to you. Hope you are ok.

Reply to this Thanks John. Still trying to get in touch with one friend, I'm sure she's ok though.
Reply to this My wife has a niece who teaches at the K International School in Tokyo - Diana Hudson. As far as we know she is ok but two relatives in earthquakes in a few weeks is too many!
Reply to this Some people were in both :-(
I've heard from the friend I was trying to get in contact with. As it turns out, fortunately she was away at the time. Probably sounds wierd, but part of me wishes I was actually over there right now.
Reply to this i feel you jo. give me a ticket and a shovel and i would be there in a heartbeat.
All of my friends from Japan live in Sendai. It was where I lived for 3 years. I would give anything just to know that everybody is alright.
Reply to this i would like to post another fundraising organization here!
If your interested in not just donating money, but food and supplies, places go to
Second Harvest Japan and donate. They are a wonderful organization and they are currently accepting donations just for the earthquake victims.
Reply to this Wow, just stumbled on this post, it's been 10 months since the quake. Thankfully order did not break down, and lots of good people chipped in however they could. Strange seeing this so long after.
