i understand u get a 30 day visa in cambodia when you enter how would u extend this if you needed extra time to travel ect ?
Reply to this Hey
You would go to a travel agent and ask them to arrange an extension for you.
Alternatively you can do a visa run, simply cross the border to a neighbouring country (Thailand would be best probably as you don't need a visa to go there) and then buy a new visa and re enter Cambodia.
Hope this helps.

Reply to this I know this is old but I'll throw in..
Tourist visas can be extended once, if you want to stay longer you would have to make a visa run.
If you know you want to stay longer, get a Business Visa (Class E, not always called business, but always class E). $5 dollars more at the border and you have more options to extend in country.

Reply to this I see different prices for extensions and then see the $5/day overstay fee. Assuming that the visa is for 30 days (as opposed to "one month" then we'll only overstay for 1 day. Where and how is this fee collected?
Reply to this Haven't done the extension in a while. But overstay charges are collected at passport control as you're leaving the country.

Reply to this cheers for the reply dude , but i left cambodia a long time now
was easy enough to get extensions at tour agents , however didnt get one in the end just stayed for the 30 days i was given so couldnt recomed one to use for anyone else , but i expect a d.i.y visa run to thailand from siem reap shouldnt be to hard .
Reply to this If anyone is still interested - overstays are charged at the point of departure. It's $5 a day for the first month and then $6 a day after. It's nearly always cheaper to pay for an extension ($45 for 1 month) on a tourist visa than go through the hassle of dealing with immigration.
