Think I'll 'ave the Loop for Starters, mate
When we finally reached the bottom of the long series of steps we arrived unscathed and very cold. We arrived in the Grassmarket section of town. This was where farmers used to bring the feed for animals to market. Now it's where the drunks hang out carousing all night. We were given a little over half an hour to grab lunch in one of the pubs. Kate recommended Biddy Mulligans' soup. For a couple of pounds we got a big bowl of soup made from some forgotten vegetable and a big hard roll. And of course beer. Quite satisfying actually.
